Jane graduated from Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto in 1985, became a professional engineer in 1988 and received her Master of Management Science from University of Waterloo in 1990.   

She has spent a career in technical leadership roles, culminating in COO and CEO roles of two small technology-based companies.  Jane started her own consulting company one-two-five inc. in 2014 focusing on marketing technology in the automobile industry. 


She believes in contributing through volunteer work and has been on the board of several non-profits; Jessie’s- June Callwood Centre for Young Women, Ontario Society for Professional Engineers, and continues to lead the Ontario Masters Cross Country Ski Association. 


Jane transitioned into semi-retirement in 2024 and concentrates on board and advisory work, her family  (especially her elderly mother and her grandchildren), her goldendoodle Dani and her passion for cross country skiing.  She is a resident of Horseshoe Valley and joined the Helping Hands board in Orillia in September, 2025  with the intent of adding value through volunteering in her local community.
